CLINICAL HYPNOTHERAPY

“Patients are patients because they are out of rapport with their own unconscious...”

- Milton Erickson, 1976 -

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is a deep state of naturally induced relaxation and concentration. Within this state, one can communicate suggestions to the subconscious. The subconscious influences one’s thoughts and feelings—and therefore influences the choices one makes.

Many subconscious thoughts originate at a very young age. Hypnosis allows access to any negative, false, and unsupported subconscious perceptions, as well as to positive ones. Hypnotherapy offers one the ability to access these memories, gain a deeper understanding of them, and turn them into more positive, healthy feelings and memories. This process immediately alters one’s perceptions, attitude, behaviors, and experiences in the present and for the future.

How does it work?

•  Anyone who wants to be hypnotized can be easily and effortlessly.

•  You will be fully aware of what is taking place, and you will remember everything about the session.

•  You will always be in control. You will not say or do anything that you would not say or do in your normal waking state.

•  Your thoughts and choices will remain the same as in your normal waking state.

I can use the Ericksonian hypnosis process if required. This process has three stages—preparation, trance work (light to medium), and evaluation of results.

What can Hypnosis do for me?

  • Release negative emotions and thoughts

  • Install new and positive behavioral patterns

  • Build confidence and self-esteem

  • Eliminate bad habits
